Paediatric Endocrinologist

 

 
Clinical Interests

Kerry is a Paediatric Endocrinologist who has experience with paediatric and adolescent endocrinology and diabetes. She also has an interest in other paediatric endocrine issues including growth, puberty, thyroid, pituitary and adrenal disorders.


Background and experience

Kerry graduated from the Queen’s University Belfast Medical School, UK in 2000.  She moved to Brisbane in 2003 and completed her specialist training in paediatrics and paediatric endocrinology at the Royal Children’s and Mater Children’s Hospitals.  She became a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2013. 


Research Interests

Kerry has completed a PhD at the University of Queensland Diamantina Institute and Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital researching the mechanisms of beta-cell destruction in children with type 1 diabetes.
